About Jim Meek
Jim serves as Dean of Erskine Theological Seminary in South Carolina. Previously, he taught at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis for 13 years, serving as Assistant Professor of Bible, Associate Dean for Academics, and Dean of Administration. Students have used the materials from his Bible survey course in seminaries, churches and schools around the world. He also taught Bible study methods, communication and Greek, and helped students prepare for ordination exams.
Jim has also served as a church planter and pastor. He is the
author of a dozen discussion guides for small group Bible study and
other articles. He holds a Ph.D. in New Testament from Concordia
Seminary as well as degrees from Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia
(M.Div., Th.M.) and Rice University (B.A.). He is a minister in the
Presbyterian Church in America.
